Vietnam's number one golfer - Tran Le Duy Nhat has defeated Korean golfer to win the VPG BRG Kings Island Championship 2018 – an event of VPG Tour.
Tran Le Duy Nhat (Michael Tran) won PGA Tour for the first time
The VPG BRG Kings Island Championship 2018 - an event of VPG Tour has held from 4-7 December at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, Hanoi. Total prize of the tournament is 300,000,00 vnd.
Come into the final round with 1 stroke off the lead, Tran Le Duy Nhat has to chase Korean golfer - an golf íntructor Kim Jin Cheol.
However, with the experience playing on many international tournaments, Duy Nhat played calm and confidence and take the lead with 5 strokes after 10 holes. He made a double bogey at 17th hole, but a par at 72nd hole is enough for Tran Le Duy Nhat to win the tournament and pocketed 90 milion VND.
And for Kim Jin Cheol, though he did not have a good start with 2 double bogeys and 1 bogey, he played better after 10th hole with 4 birdies. With 1 over par, Kim earned a first runner-up and got 39 mil VNĐ
